At Lincoln Park Zoo camps, kids in grades preK–8 go wild for nature. Through hands-on activities and visiting the animals, campers uncover all the ways the zoo—and the Earth!—is an amazing place.
As part of our commitment to serving all who want to participate in our programs, scholarships are available for most of our programs.
Spring Break Camp
Campers explore the characteristics of different animal habitats in North and South America, and learn more about the critters that call them home. Each camp day is independent and has a different theme, so campers can choose which days to attend.
Summer Conservation Camp
Campers will explore the zoo and learn about animals and how we care for them as they make new friends and spend time in the great outdoors.
Campers must be 4 years old on their first day of camp to attend. COVID-19 vaccination is required for all eligible campers.
Summer Zoo Crew
Through team-building and immersive learning, campers will explore the relationships between animals, humans, and ecosystems.
Zoo Crew sessions are two weeks long and include field trips, conversations with zoo experts, and a sleepover on the last Thursday of each session. COVID-19 vaccination is required for all eligible campers.
Winter Break Camp
Campers chase their curiosity while discovering the awe-inspiring world of wildlife—engaging with the animals, places, and people that make the zoo an amazing place!
