Overview

Dive into the wonderful world of autumn, from picking the perfect pumpkin to sipping festive drinks, with Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual Fall Fest. This free, family-friendly celebration is full of harvest days fun this October. Fest guests can enjoy a pumpkin walk, live pumpkin carvers, a festive pop-up bar, animal chats, musical entertainment and more!

Paid Experiences

AT&T Endangered Species Carousel*
The AT&T Endangered Species Carousel features 48 artisan-crafted wooden animals and two chariots.
1 ticket required per person

Lionel Train Adventure*
The trackless 28-passenger train crosses over a quaint country bridge and wends its way past forest and canyon scenery before returning to a red brick station.

Pumpkin Walk
A beautifully decorated path carved with professional pumpkins wind around the beautiful gardens inside Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo. This unique experience will take place Friday, October 8 through Sunday, October 31. Professional pumpkin carvers will be on site each Saturday & Sunday (October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31) showcasing their talents from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pumpkin Patch*
Nothing says fall like the perfect pumpkin. Whether you’re carving a jack-o-lantern or making some delicious pie this autumn, your adventure starts at Lincoln Park Zoo.

Patches’ Pumpkin Bar & Grill*
Bird’s Eye Bar & Grill will transform into an over-the-top fall pop-up inspired by the color and ambience of the autumn season. Festive food, drinks, and décor will line each corner giving you spectacular views of the brand new Pepper Family Wildlife Center.

Caricatures & Face Painting
Dive face first into autumn with artistic designs ranging from glowing jack-o-lanterns to spooky monsters.

Caramel Apple & S’mores Station
Cozy up with the comforts of fall food by designing your own caramel apple creation or warming up with s’mores by the fire.

Haunted History Tours

Tuesdays, October 12, 19, and 26, 7 and 9 p.m.
Wednesdays, October 13, 20, & 27, 7 and 9 p.m.

Join Adam Selzer—author, podcaster, and host of Mysterious Chicago Tours—for spine-tingling walkabouts that dig into the zoo’s cemetery roots and locations from throughout its allegedly haunted history. These popular tours will sell out quickly, so scare up some tickets for yourself before they disappear!

Can experience tickets be traded, transferred, or refunded and what happens if it rains?

All experiences are rain or shine. Tickets can be transferred between people, but all tickets are non-refundable. All fall experience tickets expire on November 1, 2021.
