Frequently Asked Questions

Collapse All Expand All
Where do I enter?

For the matinee show: Enter zoo grounds at the East Gate (in the parking lot) or West Gate (Stockton Drive and Webster Avenue). Head to the west door of Pepper Family Wildlife Center.

For evening shows: Please use the front entrance of Café Brauer for the evening performances, off the circular driveway at 2021 N. Stockton Drive. Do not enter from the patio.

Can my child attend? Do they need a ticket?

This show is appropriate for all ages. Every individual in your party must have a ticket for entry, including infants, children, and Lincoln Park Zoo members.

Do I need to print my ticket?

Nope! For the most efficient experience—and to help conserve paper—please have your ticket ready on your smartphone. All guests must show their ticket for entry.

Is parking available?

Limited paid parking is available in the zoo lot located at Fullerton Avenue and Cannon Drive (2400 N. Cannon Drive). Street parking will be extremely limited. The zoo is also accessible by train via the Armitage and Fullerton stations and by bus via the 22, 36, 151, and 156 routes.

During ZooLights, traffic can become congested and parking may become difficult to find. When the parking lot is full, zoo staff will close it temporarily to ensure the safety of patrons. The lot will reopen when it is no longer at full capacity.

We strongly encourage guests to use public transportation or rideshare services if possible. The zoo is accessible by train via the Armitage and Fullerton stations and by bus via the 22, 36, 151, and 156 routes.

I’m a Lincoln Park Zoo member! Do I get a discount?

Yes! Lincoln Park Zoo members get a 20% discount on all event ticket purchases. To receive your discount, login with your membership information at tickets.lpzoo.org and your member discount will automatically apply to event tickets in your cart.
