About

Following 10 years as Associate Veterinarian of the Dallas Zoo and Aquarium, Dr. Gamble became Director of Veterinary Services of Lincoln Park Zoo in 2002. In her role, she is responsible for coordinating all veterinary care at the zoo, including clinical services, research, and teaching. The department includes veterinarians, veterinary technicians, nutrition staff, keepers, and veterinary students.

She also is Veterinary Advisor for the Chimpanzee Species Survival Plan® (SSP), Buceroes SSP, and Coraciiformes Taxon Advisory Group. Since 2001, she has served as Associate Editor for the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine. Her research spans studies based in her graduate degree of veterinary pharmacology to risk factors in disease, and clinical medicine.
