Little Explorers Tour

Take in the world of wildlife with experiences designed for families with children.

Exhibits: Farm-in-the-Zoo

Opened in 1964 and renovated in 2002, Farm-in-the-Zoo incorporates domestic farm animals and play-based learning stations to create a welcome space for first encounters with and exploration within the natural world.

Little Explorers Tour: Treetop Canopy Climbing Adventure

This year-round platform climber is designed to mimic a tree canopy and will give children a feel for the arboreal lifestyle.


Little Explorers Tour: Wild Sapling Play Forest

Climb a log tower, burrow through an above-ground tunnel of sculpted metal vines, and navigate a zigzagging balance beam interspersed with tree-stump platforms.
