After graduation, she completed an animal nutrition internship at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and then interned at Philadelphia Zoo as a browse coordinator. After her internships, she decided to pursue a master’s degree in animal nutrition, so she moved to Sutton-Bonington, England, to complete her thesis on Asian elephant nutrition.
