When Joe and Judi Schenke moved to Chicago after 25 years in Barrington, they became frequent visitors to Lincoln Park Zoo’s Regenstein Center for African Apes. Daily visits to the the zoo’s gorillas and chimpanzees made them want to contribute to the zoo’s future. When the couple updated their wills, they decided to include Lincoln Park Zoo as one of their beneficiaries. “We wanted to do something more for the zoo, and the Heritage Society gave us the perfect opportunity,” says Judi.
