Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo
Enjoy a walk in the woods. Visitors of all ages can observe red wolves, black bears, river otters and beavers in a wooded outdoor setting. Indoors, kids can see snakes and insects at eye level before exploring the upper canopy in the Treetop Canopy Climbing Adventure.
Regenstein African Journey
Experience the sights and sounds of Africa. Dwarf crocodiles and pygmy hippos swim in rain forest pools while meerkats and masked lovebirds play in a dry thorn forest. Outdoors, towering giraffes amble in the savanna near neighboring warthogs and African wild dogs.
Regenstein Center for African Apes
Get face-to-face with Lincoln Park Zoo’s famous gorillas and chimpanzees. Three different groups can be seen climbing trees, nesting in the mulch and interacting with fellow apes in natural indoor and outdoor habitats.
Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo
After a full year of growth, Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo is in full bloom. Stroll the boardwalk to see the pond and prairie plants that have taken root—and the native wildlife flourishing around them.
