Bringing Species Back from the Brink
Lincoln Park Zoo and biologists from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are commemorating Endangered Species Day with a conservation celebration!
On Friday, May 20, 2011, educators will offer special info on some of the Lincoln Park Zoo’s rarest species. Scientists from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will also be on hand to share how they’ve partnered with the zoo to save animals including eastern massasauga rattlesnakes and piping plovers.
Stop by to learn how Chicago’s zoo and its partners are saving some of the planet’s most precious gems.
