ZooLights Presented by ComEd and Charter One Recap

We’d like to thank everyone who visited ZooLights this holiday season. 365,593 visitors came to ZooLights this year—that’s 41,000 more visitors than our previous record two years ago!

We’d also like to thank our sponsors, including ComEd, Charter One, MINI of Chicago, Motorola ELECTRIFY, Pepsi, United Airlines and WLIT The Lite 93.9 FM.

Some highlights of this season of ZooLights included 2 million sparkling lights, new illuminated tunnels and a “water wall” of lights that wowed guests, a larger-than-life teddy bear and Santa, live ice carving and cool crafts for little guests. Members warmed up and socialized in the Members Lounge. (Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Emily Casey and Maria R. Hrycelak, M.D., our members who dedicated nights of the ZooLights Members Lounge!)

Lastly, congratulations go out to the six couples who got engaged at ZooLights. “We usually have one or two, but something about this year definitely brought out the romantic side of these guys,” said Lincoln Park Zoo Director of Sales and Events Dana Jussaume.
