Adult Yoga at Lincoln Park Zoo

Strike a Pose in a Scenic Outdoor Setting

Take in views of the city skyline as you connect with nature at the zoo. Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo provides a unique, peaceful environment for practicing yoga amidst shady trees, chirping birds and the warm summer breeze.

Learn or perfect the basics of yoga in this class targeted to beginner and intermediate yoga practitioners. We gladly welcome you to your first or 1,000th class. Classes are carefully instructed to give you individualized options that best support your needs.

Classes incorporate elements of hatha and vinyasa practices that will lead you through yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and mindfulness techniques (samyama) to not only improve your health but also develop a calm and balanced mind.

Yoga at the Zoo’s 2014 program season has concluded. Thanks to all those who took part in another relaxing, rejuvenating season of outdoor yoga at Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo. Thanks also to our wonderful instructors, presenting sponsor Walgreens and generous supporter Luna. Check back with us in spring 2015 for information about next summer’s yoga classes!
