Get to Know the Yoga Instructors

Tyra Notorangelo completed her Hatha yoga instructor certification at Global Yoga and Wellness Center. Since 2000, she's been practicing yoga—Anusara, Vinyasa and Kundalini—and has studied with Anna Forrest, Rita Knorr and Rich Logan. She enjoys the philosophy of yoga and focuses on both mind and body in her classes.
Claire Hurwitz is a Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor who has taught and studied yoga in Chicago and New Zealand. Claire hopes her students leave class feeling refreshed, challenged and ready to bring yoga off the mat and into their daily lives.
Julie Snyder completed teacher training in 2008, and hopes to pass on her love of yoga to others while teaching outdoors at Lincoln Park Zoo. Her classes are taught to inspire self-awareness, relaxation, and an appreciation for the body.
