Student Researchers Share Their Animal Observations

Today the Women’s Board of Lincoln Park Zoo hosted their 11th annual Science Celebration, bringing 240 middle school students from throughout the city to Café Brauer to present zoo-based research projects.

Participants also enjoyed demonstrations from zoo educators and heard zoo scientist Anna Czupryna share her experiences in Africa, where she manages the Serengeti Health Initiative, a zoo-based vaccination project that protects people, pets and predators like lions from disease.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for this culmination of our yearlong Young Researchers Collaborative!
