Wake Up with the Zoo’s South Side
Lincoln Park Zoo invites members to celebrate spring with a special Members-Only Morning! The south end of the zoo will open early just for members, giving them a chance to see animals like never before.
This exclusive event will feature the Helen Brach Primate House, Regenstein Center for African Apes and the Antelope & Zebra Area. Get a sneak peak on how keepers and animals—including monkeys, gorillas, kangaroos and zebras—start their day!
Entrance just north of the Helen Brach Primate House
Members will be able to:
- Observe unique training sessions with our gorillas
- See if they can jump as far as a kangaroo
- Pepper our zoological manager of primates with questions
- Forage for special treats just like primates in the wild
- Watch our Sichuan takin receive piñata enrichment
- Pique a primate’s interest by drawing on an exhibit’s windowpanes
- And much, much more!
This is a free all-ages event for members at any level of Lincoln Park Zoo. No reservations are required! Just show up with your member or donor card and bring as many guests as you want to enjoy the fun—and accept our thanks for your support!
Please note: normal parking policies and charges will apply for this event.
