FarmFest: The Cure for the End-of-Summer Moos

Hosted by the Auxiliary Board of Lincoln Park Zoo

Saturday, September 17, 2011

Join Lincoln Park Zoo’s Auxiliary Board for their newest event—FarmFest! Reminiscent of Chicago’s street festivals and block parties, FarmFest gives a whole new meaning to “party animals.”

What makes this fest so special? Held at the only barnyard in Chicago, FarmFest guests are invited to hoedown at Lincoln Park Zoo’s Farm-in-the-Zoo while enjoying live music, raffles, a mechanical bull and tasty eats. Guests will also enjoy delicious wine from Van Duzer Vineyards, and handcrafted beer from SmallBar Fullerton and Two Brothers Brewing Company. It’s a sure cure for end-of-summer "moos!"

All proceeds from FarmFest help feed the animals and keep Lincoln Park Zoo free and open to all, 365 days a year.
