Enjoy a free, public exhibition of sculptures located throughout the zoo’s beautiful gardens! Free, guided tours of the large-scale works by local artists are offered at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Join a zoo horticulturist and an animal expert on an after-hours stroll through the zoo! Your guides will point out the behavior of animals like the red wolves and snow leopard at this unique time of day as well as seasonal highlights in the zoo gardens.

Enjoy a free introduction to outdoor yoga classes in the most scenic “studio” in Chicago: Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo! Take in views of surrounding gardens, wildlife and the city skyline while learning or perfecting the basics of hatha and vinyasa yoga in classes targeted to beginner and intermediate yoga practitioners.

United Run for the Zoo Early Registration Discount Deadline
Register for the 10K, 5K and Safari Stampede race events at June 7’s United Run for the Zoo by June 4 to save on registration fees.

United Run for the Zoo (Sold Out)
The 33rd annual United Run for the Zoo is now sold out! This highlight of the Chicago racing calendar features a 10K run, 5K run/walk and mini obstacle course for kids ages 8 and under. Race courses follow routes around and through the zoo. This year’s event includes several exciting updates in response to participant feedback last year.

Conservation Camp
Conservation Camp offers half-day and full-day program options for animal and nature lovers from Pre-K to those entering fourth grade in fall 2015. Each Conservation Camp group explores the zoo and participates in activities to discover animal diversity, environmental conservation and ways Lincoln Park Zoo cares for animals at the zoo and conserves them in the wild.

Zoo Crew
Zoo Crew is a summer learning and outreach opportunity for kids entering fifth–eighth grade in the fall. Participants in the summer 2014 program work with peers and zoo staff to develop and implement environmentally minded projects to make positive changes in their own communities.
