You've hunted with the lions in "Hunt
the Zebra."
You've seen how different adaptations work together in "Parts
of the Whole"
You've learned Why the Zebra
has Stripes.
That means you are ready to discover the reason animals look the
way they do.
When you look closely at an animal, you should be able to tell
some things about how it lives. Things like what it eats, and
whether other animals would eat it! The physical features that
are useful to animals are called adaptations.
But different animals have lots of different ways of trying
to stay alive. Their adaptations have to be perfectly matched
to their way of surviving.
In level 2 you will look at adaptations to try to figure out
how different animals live in "Predator
or Prey".
You can also try to survive in the wild as a lion or zebra in
the game "What's to Eat"
