Sleep Under the Skyscrapers: Outdoor Campout

Sleep Under the Skyscrapers: Outdoor Campout

Select Dates, June–August, 2014

For another summer season, families experienced the zoo after hours during overnight campouts. Guests pitched tents on the zoo’s beautiful South Lawn and woke up to the sounds of hooting gibbons and honking flamingos in nearby exhibits. Both overnighters and evening-only attendees visited zoo animals at night, explored animal activity stations and gathered around a campfire to make s’mores. Overnight campers also enjoyed breakfast and a leisurely hike the next morning.

For families with children ages 5–12
