Families with children ages 5–12 can spend a summer night at the zoo! Stay for just the evening activities—including after-hours animal house tours, a campfire and s’mores and an optional dinner—or opt to pitch a tent on the beautiful South Lawn and wake up to hooting gibbons and honking flamingos!

Lincoln Park Zoo members can enjoy a free, family-friendly, exclusive tour modeled after the popular book series “Choose Your Own Adventure”—with an African wildlife twist!

“Zoo Detectives”: Members-Only Zoo Safari Tour
Lincoln Park Zoo members can enjoy a free, exclusive, discussion-based tour with mystery theme! Collect clues as you visit different animal habitats to solve a puzzle in this family-friendly tour.

Animal Enrichment Workshop
Adults and kids of all ages can make edible piñatas and other creative enrichment items for the zoo’s animals, then watch the recipients enjoy them in their exhibits!
