FEATURES-NEWS

Lincoln Park Zoo’s Summer Conservation Camps begin in June 2008!

Conservation camps are designed to foster children’s creativity and connect them to the outside world while engaging them in activities that inspire stewardship. Children ages 2-15 can select from a myriad of camps, from play-focused sessions for little tykes to animal-career explorations for teens. We use a child-centered approach to understanding nature while focusing on gross- and fine-motor skill development for younger children. Older children engage in real-world studies to understand the world of scientists.

Campers ages 4-15 will receive one camp t-shirt with registration and are required to wear their camp t-shirt every day of camp.  Additional t-shirts can be purchased for $10 each by clicking here.
