Summer 2010 promises to be full of amazing animals, creative projects, good friends and plenty of fun! Join us for a week or two at Lincoln Park Zoo Conservation Camp and discover new ways to be Naturally Urban!

Summer Conservation Camp offers fun, safe and memorable experiences for 4-year-olds to those entering eighth grade in the fall. You can choose one or two differently themed weeks of camp. These sessions are independent, so you can enroll in one or both weeks. Want to attend two weeks in a row? Looking to take a few weeks off between sessions? The choice is yours!

Lincoln Park Zoo Members receive priority registration and the opportunity to register early.

  • Active Individual, Household or Zoologist members will be eligible for early registration on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 10 a.m. To learn more about the benefits of becoming a member, or to renew your membership, visit www.lpzoo.org/membership

Lincoln Park
Zoo Conservation Camps are designed for campers from 4-year-olds to those entering eighth grade. Some age groups have limited availability and sessions.

The Web of Wildlife
From gorillas that live together in families to leafcutter ants that team up to maintain fungus farms, animals depend on each other in many different ways. Join us as we explore the countless relationships in nature in The Web of Wildlife.

Nature and You
What do you have in common with an armadillo? How can you help protect endangered rattlesnakes? There are many reasons to learn about animals and lots of ways to connect to the natural world. Come to Conservation Camp at the zoo to explore the true relationship between Nature and You.

Half-day camps  (4–5-year-olds): $150/week
Full-day camps (First–eighth graders): $300/week

Special Lincoln Park Zoo Member Pricing:

Full-day camps (First–eighth graders): $250/week

Conservation Camp Scholarships
Scholarship applications are due February 22, 2010

Thanks to a generous donation by HSBC­–North America, 30 scholarships are available for Lincoln Park Zoo Conservation Camp 2010. Scholarships will cover the cost of one week of camp; recipients may also register for a second week at a reduced rate of 50 percent.

Scholarships are available only for full-day campers entering first–eighth grade. Please click the attachment below for more information and to fill out the scholarship application. Applications must be received by February 22, 2010, and recipients will be notified by phone or e-mail on February 26, 2010
