Donor Club members help keep Lincoln Park Zoo free and open every day of the year. To show our appreciation for your support, we host exclusive events throughout the year to offer an inside look at the zoo’s world-class conservation, education and care.
Member Appreciation Month
All month long, we want to show our members how much they mean to Lincoln Park Zoo. To show our appreciation, all members are invited to take advantage of free parking, an additional 10% off on retail purchases and uniquely curated events for members of all ages. Check out what’s happening each week!
To take advantage of free parking throughout February, just swipe your card as you enter and once again as you leave the parking lot. If you come without your card, just stop inside Gateway Pavilion to pick up a parking pass.
Week 1: We’re Not Lion, We Love our Members!

Week 2: Days of Play Week
A scavenger hunt in the Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo is sure to bring out the kid in you. Find the clues in this week’s membership email to compete for the prize!
Rise and shine! The Children’s Zoo Treetop Canopy Climbing Adventure is open early this week, starting at 9:30 a.m. from Monday–Friday.Bring the family in from the cold and start the day with play! No registration required.

During an exclusive members-only viewing, the North American river otters will be treated to enrichment. Keepers will engage with the rivers otters while members get an up-close look. Bring your camera and your membership card. No registration required.
Week 3: Cutest Couples Week

Wine & Wildlife: Raising a Zoo Baby
Think you know what it takes to raise a baby? What about a zoo baby? Learn from the experts at this month’s Wine & Wildlife evening presentation. Members receive discounts on tickets, so reserve your seat today!

Free ice skate rentals for members! Kick off your shoes and slip into skates for a romantic spin on the ice at Ice Skating at Lincoln Park Zoo Presented by PowerShares QQQ by Invesco at the Farm-in-the-Zoo. Soak in the city skyline from the rink. Bring your membership card to receive free skate rental.

The crowned lemurs, Francois’ langurs, and Bolivian gray titi monkeys will be enjoying enrichment items throughout their exhibits. Don’t miss the chance to learn and observe these intriguing animals! No registration required.
Week 4: Small but Mighty Week

Week 5: Bear Hug Week
As Membership Appreciation Month comes to a close, we want to give a big bear hug to each member for their dedication to Lincoln Park Zoo.

Walking Tour with a Curator Series
Wednesday, March 8, 8 a.m.: Adults-Only Walking Tour with a Curator
Join one of our expert curators for a special adventure at Lincoln Park Zoo! These intimate tours provide close encounters and inside info on the animals that call Chicago’s free zoo home. Invites for each tour are mailed to Donor Club members at the Explorers’ Circle level and above several weeks to prior to the event date. Please respond quickly if you’d like to attend—spots are limited and fill up fast!
