Louise Bier,
Studbook Analyst
Population Management Center

Louise Bier graduated from Macalester College in 2003 with B.A.’s in biology and religious studies. Working with the American Zoo and Aquarium Association’s Population Management Center, Bier validates studbook databases and works with studbook keepers on data clean-up prior to the development of management plans. She coordinates and assists with population management meetings from scheduling to distribution and tracks project landmarks from start to completion. Bier is also conducting research focusing on inbreeding depression.
