About Adrienne Horrigan:
Adrienne came to Lincoln Park Zoo from a career as a librarian. She brought her information-science background to work managing the zoo’s animal records, permitting and publication of the Annual Inventory. She serves as administrator of the Tracks animal records database, has spearheaded the transition of the zoo’s animal data to this upgraded system and trains zoo personnel on Tracks use.
Accurate and accessible animal data is vital to both Lincoln Park Zoo and the success of regional and global population management programs. Adrienne works closely with the vice president of animal care, director of veterinary services and Tracks software developers to optimize both animal and medical record-keeping systems and ensure the integrity of the zoo’s data.
