Posts from the President

Hi everybody. I’ll be making periodic posts to provide you a unique perspective on Lincoln Park Zoo and my work as the president and CEO. So here goes…
The Patio at Café Brauer opened over the Memorial Day weekend and crowds dined and drank in this newest place to relax at the zoo. (Once Nature Boardwalk opens on June 24 the view from the Patio will be breathtaking. Stop by for a beer or a glass of wine.)
It was nice to see visitors this weekend gushing over the European white stork chicks and the newly hatched cinereous vulture. If you haven’t yet seen them, you’re missing out.
