Learning in the Lab

Students from Montana’s Northern Cheyenne Reservation came to Lincoln Park Zoo last week to observe zoo research firsthand. Here Rachel Santymire, Ph.D., director of the Davee Center for Epidemiology and Endocrinology, guides them through the lab where she non-invasively extracts hormone levels from animal fecal samples.
