ZooLights Night After Night

ZooLights Presented by ComEd and Charter One is now open every evening through January 5 (except December 24 and 25).

Santa at ZooLights Presented by ComEd and Charter One

A certain North Pole celebrity is just one of the jolly highlights at this free holiday experience. Sure, you could take the kids to see Santa at a shopping mall. But if you’re seeking a more novel St. Nick, it’s tough to top his current nightly residence at Lincoln Park Zoo’s Kovler Lion House. (Wisely, we think, he left the reindeer stabled back home.)

Ho, ho, roar—learn more.

We are coming to Chicago for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We are Zoo Atlanta members and volunteers and our son works for the San Diego Zoo, so we would LOVE to come check out your zoo. Zoolights sounds awesome. We would only be able to come on Friday, November 27. Is that going to be do-able? Super crowded?? Best time ???

Re: ZooLights

Peg, we're excited you'll be coming to visit (and it sounds like you have quite the zoo background). ZooLights Presented by ComEd and PowerShares QQQ starts shining on Friday, November 27, so you can definitely take in the lights. The first night can be crowded as people come out for the fun, but it's also a good time. (It's typically weather-dependent too, as you'd expect from an outdoor event in Chicago in November!) We hope you'll join us.
