Winter Animal Photography Fun

More than a dozen fourth-eighth graders came to Lincoln Park Zoo on Presidents Day to pick up pointers on Winter Animal Photography. Armed with digital cameras, the junior shutterbugs snapped photos at destinations including the Kovler Sea Lion Pool, McCormick Bird House and Helen Brach Primate House.

The kids spent several hours seeking the best angles to capture their wild subjects. They also came to the conclusion that photography is a lot of fun. “They loved it,” says Manager of Public Programs Jaclyn Peterson.
