Zoo Ball 2012: The Great Catsby took place in July, but the signature fundraising event for the Women’s Board of Lincoln Park Zoo keeps on giving! Zoo Ball Co-Chairs Suzanne A. Meder (left) and Cynthia Ross Polayes (right) delivered plush animals this week for kids at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Justyna Griffin (center), a member of the hospital’s Family Services team, accepted the wild gifts, which were donated through a Fund-a-Need drive at Zoo Ball 2012. In addition to the cuddly toys, the gala raised a record-breaking $1.2 million for Lincoln Park Zoo.
