See a Sloth, Don’t Be One
The Hoffman’s two-toed sloths who hang around Regenstein Small Mammal-Reptile House spend most of their daylight hours snoozing. Sign up for one of the zoo’s next Sleep Under the Skyscrapers: Indoor Overnight sessions, though, and you’ll likely see a lot more activity from these nocturnal leaf eaters in the treetops. Just don’t expect it to be quick.
You may want to be less slothful in registering for this popular overnight program for groups and families with kids ages 5–12. Upcoming sessions take place February 22 (zoo members only), March 8 and April 12.
