Inside the Mind
of the Chimpanzee

Lincoln Park Zoo and the Mind of the Chimpanzee Conference are proud to host Jane Goodall and Richard Wrangham as they offer an in-depth look into the mind of our closest living relative. These renowned experts will discuss chimpanzee cognition, care and conservation in a special public lecture.

Registration Information

This event is now sold out.

Registration is open to professionals (those currently employed by an accredited zoological institute, research center or university), students (those currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies) and the general public.  Students will be required to provide proof of their status during the registration process and will be asked to confirm that status upon arriving at the conference.

Professional Rate:

Student Rate: $200
Public Rate:

$400 Non-members
$350 Lincoln Park Zoo Members

What registration covers:

  • Full access to all presentations by some of the leading primatologists in the world.
  • Three days of lunches and morning and afternoon coffee breaks
  • Thursday night conference icebreaker with hors d'oeuvres and drinks
  • An evening poster session

NOTE: Registration to the academic conference includes admission to the Sunday afternoon lecture at Navy Pier by Dr. Jane Goodall and Dr. Richard Wrangham.

IMPORTANT: INTERNATIONAL REGISTRANTS: If you are unable to pay by credit card, you may print a copy of the registration form here.  Send in the completed registration form with your payment (check or money order in U.S. dollars). Your registration will be confirmed when the check has cleared.
